These are very comfortable and keep your feet warm. However, if you are planning to buy a pair you measure your bare feet and leave no room for thick socks, or what you will get too big. Raynaud's syndrome because I my feet are always cold. This certainly will help with heat, without constriction. I do not know if they really are waterproof, but so far they have kept water on the outside while wearing her out and about on rainy days.
