High quality boots are expensive, so it would be a good investment if you buy the right pair of boots. There are a few things I would think about before choosing a pair of boots. These are just  basic simple little details, but they are always helpful.

How to waterproof your boots

Waterproofing your boots is one of the best things you can do to take care of them, from fashion boots, hiking boots, motorcycle boots, etc. But how do you go about it?

When purchasing the boots in-store:

  • Ask the salesclerk what he or she recommends for you as waterproofing products. There are many kinds of products, including oil, wax, silicone, and water-base. Asking the clerk would give you an idea of which kind of products would work for your boot material.
  • Ask the clerk for specific technique to waterproof your boots. Make sure you ask them in detail, such ask whether you should rub the product in, or wait for it to be obsorbed, or just let it air dry.
